Join award-winning storyteller, Aimee Louw, for One Good Thing:

a celebratory creative writing and expression workshop which asks members to focus on a micro-joy in order to grow that joyful sensation.

“By the end of this session members will feel audacious in their commitment to their bodies, passions and joy, which I believe are crucial aesthetic skills for everyone in the polycrisis of our times.”

-Aimee

Members will leave with strategies to support their creative practice and centre micro-practices of joy in their daily lives.

Workshop includes:

  • Writing prompts, ritual and embodied techniques adapted from my training in Pain Reprocessing Therapy

  • Joyful strategies for living that I’ve gained from living with chronic illness and changing body experiences.

  • Emphasis on the writing process, self-expression and cultivating caring creative community

  •  Drafts of a few genres of writing (poetry & nonfiction).
